Explication
NOTE
The passive form of う-verbs describes an action done to someone. It is often used to express that the subject was affected by another person's action.
NOTE
For う-verbs, change the final -u sound to the -a row and add れる. For example, かく → かかれる, よむ → よまれる, とる → とられる.
STRUCTURE

Watashi wa sensei ni namae o yobareta.
I was called by name by the teacher.
電車で足を踏まれた。
Densha de ashi o fumareta.
My foot was stepped on in the train.
この本は多くの人に読まれている。
