〜きり ①

Explication

NOTE

〜きり signifie depuis que X — utilisé lorsqu'une action a eu lieu et qu'aucune action de suivi n'a eu lieu depuis.

彼かれは朝あさ出でかけたきり、帰かえってこない。

Depuis qu'il est parti le matin, il n'est pas revenu.

La seconde proposition est généralement négative — quelque chose d'attendu *ne s'est pas* produit depuis la première action.

NOTE

Utilisez 〜きり pour exprimer un sentiment d'immédiateté temporelle et de finalité — la première action a été la dernière de son genre, sans continuation.

NOTE

Attachez きり à la forme passée (た) d'un verb (verbe) (出かけた → 出かけたきり).

Sengetsu atta kiri, kare to wa renraku o totte imasen.

I haven't been in touch with him since the last time we met last month.

その本ほんは、買っかったきりきり、まだ一度いちども読んよんでいません。

Sono hon wa, katta kiri, mada ichido mo yonde imasen.

I bought that book, and I haven't read it even once since (or: I just bought that book and haven't touched it).

朝、パンぱんを食べたべたきりきり、今日きょうはまだ何もなにも食べたべていません。

Asa, pan o tabeta kiri, kyou wa mada nani mo tabete imasen.

I just ate some bread in the morning and haven't eaten anything since then today.

息子むすこは部屋へやに入はいったきり、出でてこない。

Musuko wa heya ni haitta kiri, dete konai.

Depuis que mon fils est entré dans sa chambre, il n'en est pas sorti.

去年きょねん会あったきり、彼女かのじょとは連絡れんらくがない。

Kyonen atta kiri, kanojo to wa renraku ga nai.

Depuis que je l'ai rencontrée l'année dernière, je n'ai pas eu de nouvelles d'elle.

祖父そふは病院びょういんに入院にゅういんしたきり、家いえに戻もどってこなかった。

Sofu wa byouin ni nyuuin shita kiri, ie ni modotte konakatta.

Depuis que mon grand-père a été hospitalisé, il n'est jamais revenu à la maison.
