NOTE
万が一 signifie in the unlikely event (au cas où, dans le cas peu probable) — utilisé pour des hypothèses rares.
万が一地震が来たら、すぐ逃げてください。
Au cas où un tremblement de terre arriverait, fuyez immédiatement.
Placé au début de la proposition hypothétique.
NOTE
Il signale un événement que le locuteur juge très improbable mais pour lequel il veut se préparer.
NOTE
Il s'associe généralement à des formes conditionnelles comme 〜たら ou 〜ば dans la proposition suivante.
