Explication

NOTE

〜のやら〜のやら exprime l'incertitude entre deux possibilités — si X ou Y, je ne sais pas.

彼かれが来くるのやら、来こないのやら、まだ分わからない。

Je ne sais toujours pas s'il viendra ou non.

Souvent associé à わからない ou 不明 pour souligner l'incertitude du locuteur.

NOTE

Les deux propositions présentent souvent des options opposées (faire/ne pas faire, vrai/faux), mais peuvent aussi être deux alternatives floues.

NOTE

Attachez のやら à la forme neutre de chaque verb (verbe) ou adjective (adjectif). Le ton est réflexif et un peu littéraire.

STRUCTURE

明日雨あめが降ふるのやら降ふらないのやら、よくわかりません。

Ashita ame ga furu no yara furanai no yara, yoku wakarimasen.

I don't know whether it will rain or not tomorrow.

この計画けいかくが成功せいこうするのやら失敗しっぱいするのやら、心配しんぱいでたまりません。

Kono keikaku ga seikou suru no yara shippai suru no yara, shinpai de tamarimasen.

I am terribly worried about whether this plan will succeed or fail.

彼が本心ほんしんを言いっているのやら嘘うそを言いっているのやら、判断はんだんできません。

Kare ga honshin o itte iru no yara uso o itte iru no yara, handan dekimasen.

I cannot judge whether he is telling the truth or lying.

息子むすこが勉強べんきょうしているのやら、遊あそんでいるのやら、さっぱり分わからない。

Musuko ga benkyou shite iru no yara, asonde iru no yara, sappari wakaranai.

Je n'ai aucune idée si mon fils étudie ou s'il joue.

彼かれの話はなしは本当ほんとうなのやら、嘘うそなのやら、判断はんだんできない。

Kare no hanashi wa hontou na no yara, uso na no yara, handan dekinai.

Je n'arrive pas à juger si son histoire est vraie ou un mensonge.

この計画けいかくがうまくいくのやら、失敗しっぱいするのやら、まだ不明ふめいだ。

Kono keikaku ga umaku iku no yara, shippai suru no yara, mada fumei da.

On ne sait pas encore si ce plan réussira ou échouera.
