NOTE

The polite form of くる is きます. Notice the reading of changes from to — this is one of the irregular aspects of this verb.

NOTE

Use きます in formal or polite conversations, just like you would use ます with any other verb.

Tomodachi ga kimasu.

明日あした学校がっこうますか?
Ashita gakkō ni kimasu ka?

先生せんせいがもうすぐます
Sensei ga mō sugu kimasu.
The teacher will come soon.
