Explanation
NOTE

The particle means too or also. It replaces the particles and to show that the same thing applies to another item.

NOTE

Place directly after the noun you want to highlight as also being true. If the noun originally had or , remove it and use instead.

タムさんは学生がくせいです。マリさん学生がくせいです。
Tam is a student. Mari is a student too.
The particle 'mo' is used here to indicate that Mari shares the same state or identity as Tam.
