*てもらう* means *to get somebody to do something* or *to have someone do something for you*. You attach it after the *て-form* of a `verb`. The person you receive the favor from is marked with *に*.

Unlike *てくれる*, which focuses on the other person kindly doing something, *てもらう* focuses on you as the one who receives the benefit or arranges for the action to happen.
