Explanation
NOTE

The たり〜たりする pattern lists actions as examples — doing things like A and B. It implies there may be other actions too, not just the ones mentioned.

NOTE

You form it by converting each verb to its た form, then replacing た with たり. The final する at the end completes the pattern and can be conjugated for tense and politeness.

週末しゅうまつは本ほんを読よんだり、映画えいがを見みたりする。
Shuumatsu wa hon o yondari, eiga o mitari suru.
On weekends, I do things like read books and watch movies.
友達ともだちと話はなしたり、歌うたったりした。
Tomodachi to hanashitari, utattari shita.
I did things like talk with friends and sing.
休やすみに泳およいだり、走はしったりする。
Yasumi ni oyoidari, hashittari suru.
