Explanation
NOTE
The conjunction そして means and then or and also. It connects two sentences, showing that the second event follows or adds to the first.
NOTE
Unlike て form which connects actions within one sentence, そして connects two separate sentences. It can link actions, descriptions, or statements.

彼は優しい。そしておもしろい。
Kare wa yasashii. Soshite omoshiroi.
He is kind. And also funny.
