NOTE
そこ means there — it refers to a place close to the listener or a place just mentioned. It is part of the こそあど system: ここ (here), そこ (there, near you), あそこ (over there).
NOTE
そこ works like a noun and can be used with any particle. Use it to point to a location near the person you are talking to.
