「い」形容詞・ない形
i-adjectives (negative casual)
Explanation
NOTE
To make an i-adjective negative in casual speech, you drop the final い and add くない. This means not [adjective].
NOTE
The i-adjective いい (good) is irregular — its negative form is よくない, not いくない.
この映画はよくない。
This movie is not good.
To negate an i-adjective, replace the final 'i' with 'kunai'. Note that for the irregular adjective 'ii' (good), the negative form is 'yokunai'.
