あそこ means over there — it refers to a place far from both the speaker and the listener. It is part of the こそあど system: ここ (here), そこ (there), あそこ (over there).

NOTE

あそこ works like a noun and can be combined with particles. Use it to point to a distant location that both you and the listener can see or know about.
