ru-verbs (negative polite)
Explanation
NOTE

To make a polite negative sentence with ru-verbs, you drop the final and add ません. This is the ません form.

NOTE

Use this form in polite or formal situations — with strangers, at work, or in any setting where you would use ます for affirmative sentences.
