imperative (casual)
Explanation
NOTE
The て form by itself can be used as a casual command or request. It is a short, direct way to tell someone to do something.
NOTE
This is much more blunt than てください. You would use it with close friends, family, or when speaking to children or pets.
STRUCTURE
Vて
ちょっと待って。
Chotto matte.
Wait a moment.
早く起きて。
Hayaku okite.
Wake up quickly.
これを見て。
Kore o mite.
Look at this.
