〜たい
want to do ~
Explanation
NOTE

The suffix たい attaches to verbs to express want to do. It conjugates like an i-adjective — you can say たくない (do not want to) and たかった (wanted to).

NOTE

This form is mainly used for your own desires. To describe what someone else wants, you would typically use たがっている instead, but that is outside the scope of たい itself.
