〜すぎる
do ~ too much
Explanation
NOTE

The suffix すぎる means too much or excessively. It attaches to verbs, i-adjectives, and na-adjectives to indicate something is overdone or excessive.

NOTE

Since すぎる is itself a verb (a る-verb), it conjugates normally: すぎます (polite), すぎた (past), すぎない (negative).
