Explanation
NOTE
こちら is the polite way to say here or this way. It refers to the direction or area near the speaker. You can also use it to politely introduce someone or something close to you.
NOTE
こちら is the polite equivalent of ここ (here) and これ (this). In formal settings like shops, restaurants, and business, こちら is strongly preferred.

Kochira wa Tanaka-san desu.
This is Mr. Tanaka.
