とうとう
finally
Explanation
NOTE

とうとう means finally or at last. It is used when something happens after a long wait or a long process.

NOTE

とうとう can express both positive outcomes (finally succeeded!) and negative outcomes (it finally broke). It always implies that time or effort passed before the result.
