Explanation
NOTE

The pattern てみる means to try doing something. You attach みる to the te-form of a verb to express doing something as a trial or experiment.

NOTE

It implies you are doing something for the first time or to see what happens. It comes from the verb 見る (to see), so the nuance is do it and see.
