〜ちゃう(じゃう)
shortcut for てしまう・でしまう
Explanation
NOTE

ちゃう is a casual contraction of てしまう. When the て-form ends in て, replace it with ちゃう. When it ends in で, use じゃう.

NOTE

It carries the same meanings as てしまう — completion or regret — but sounds more casual and natural in everyday conversation. Past tense: ちゃった / じゃった.
