Explanation
NOTE
The causative form of う-verbs expresses making or letting someone do something. The person in control uses this form to show they caused another's action.
NOTE
For う-verbs, change the final -u sound to the -a row and add せる. For example, かく → かかせる, よむ → よませる, はなす → はなさせる.
STRUCTURE

a + せる先生は学生に作文を書かせた。
Sensei wa gakusei ni sakubun o kakaseta.
The teacher made the students write an essay.
母は子供に本を読ませた。
Haha wa kodomo ni hon o yomaseta.
