Explanation
NOTE

〜代だい marks an age range (like twenties, thirties) or a generation / era. It turns a number or noun into a broad time bracket.

NOTE

Attach 代 directly after a noun or number. With ages, 二十にじゅう代だい means in one's twenties. With other nouns, it can mean the era of ~ or the generation of ~.
