Explanation
NOTE
まだ means still or not yet. Use it to express that a state continues from before, or that something has not happened yet.
NOTE
With affirmative sentences, まだ means still. With negative sentences, まだ means not yet. The nuance changes depending on the sentence ending.

外はまだ明るい。
Soto wa mada akarui.
It is still bright outside.
まだ時間がある。
Mada jikan ga aru.
There is still time.
