〜のよう
like ~
Explanation
NOTE
のよう means like ~ or similar to ~. It compares something to a noun and functions as a na-adjective — you can say のような before a noun or のようだ at the end of a sentence.
NOTE
Use のような + noun to say a noun like ~, and のようだ to say it is like ~. This pattern is more literary than みたい.
