Explanation
NOTE
The conditional たら means when or if. It is the most versatile conditional in Japanese — you can use it for hypothetical situations, completed actions, and even discoveries.
NOTE
Form it by taking the た form and adding ら. This works for verbs, i-adjectives, na-adjectives, and nouns.
STRUCTURE

Ie ni kaettara, denwa shite kudasai.
When you get home, please call me.
雨が降ったら、行かない。
Ame ga futtara, ikanai.
If it rains, I will not go.
窓を開けたら、鳥がいた。

When I opened the window, there was a bird.
