NOTE
それで means therefore or because of that. It connects a cause in the first sentence to its natural result in the second.
NOTE
Unlike だから which can sound assertive, それで is neutral and simply reports the consequence. It is very common in both conversation and writing.

Saifu o wasureta. Sorede kaenakatta.
