Explanation
NOTE
When attached to adjectives, そう expresses that something seems or looks a certain way based on your own observation. You are making a judgment from appearance.
NOTE
For i-adjectives, drop the final い and add そう. For na-adjectives, attach そう directly to the stem. The result functions like a na-adjective.
