Explanation
NOTE

或あるいは is a connector meaning or, alternatively, or possibly. It presents an alternative option or introduces a possibility.

電車でんしゃ、或あるいはバスで行いけます。
You can go by train or alternatively by bus.
Arui wa is used here to present two distinct options or alternatives.
NOTE
  • Used to list alternatives, suggest possibilities, or indicate that one of two things may be true.
  • More formal than か or それとも.
  • Often appears in writing, formal speech, and careful reasoning.
彼かれは忙いそがしいのかもしれない。或あるいは、忘わすれたのかも。
He may be busy. Or possibly, he forgot.
It is used to suggest an alternative possibility when you are not sure about a situation.
