Explanation
NOTE

もっとも is used to qualify or add a caveat to something just stated. It means that said, although, or however — introducing a condition or exception.

かれ優秀ゆうしゅうだ。もっと経験けいけんはまだすくない。
He is talented. That said, he still has little experience.
Mottomo is used as a conjunction to introduce a caveat or a slight limitation to the previous statement.
NOTE
  • More formal than でも or ただし.
  • Often used in writing, formal speech, or careful explanation.
  • The speaker acknowledges the previous point but adds a limiting or qualifying note.
この計画けいかくはうまくいくだろう。もっと条件じょうけんととのえばのはなしだが。
This plan will likely succeed. That said, only if the conditions are in place.
It adds a condition or modifies the initial positive expectation.
STRUCTURE

Nihongo wa omoshiroi gengo da. Mottomo, muzukashii bubun mo ooi.
