Explanation
NOTE
〜ことから expresses that a conclusion or reason is derived from the fact that something is true.
富士山は形が美しいことから、多くの人に愛されている。
Because of the fact that Mt. Fuji has a beautiful shape, it is loved by many people.
Used here to explain the reason or cause for something being loved.
NOTE
Common uses: explaining how something got its name, or stating a conclusion drawn from observable evidence.

Kare no namae kara, gaikokujin da to wakaru.
From his name, we can tell he is a foreigner.
その形から、「富士山」と名付けられた。
Sono katachi kara, 'Fujisan' to nazukerareta.
From that shape, it was named 'Mt. Fuji'.
