Explanation
NOTE
〜中 has two readings depending on meaning:
NOTE
じゅう — throughout / all over — covers an entire scope (time or space).
世界中の人が平和を望んでいる。
People all over the world are hoping for peace.
When attached to nouns of space or time, じゅう (juu) expresses the sense of 'entirely' or 'throughout'.
NOTE
ちゅう — in the middle of / currently — indicates something is in progress.
授業中はスマホを使わないでください。
Please do not use your smartphone during class.
When attached to nouns expressing actions or states, ちゅう (chuu) means 'in the middle of' or 'during'.
