Explanation
NOTE
〜ように ② expresses manner — doing something in the way that Y does it, or as Y.
先生が言ったように書いてください。
Please write as the teacher said.
ように ② — manner: do X in the way Y was done
NOTE
This usage answers the question "how?" It uses the plain form of a verb before ように.
言われたように行動した。
I acted in the way I was told.
Used here to indicate that an action was performed following a specific instruction or previous statement.
