Explanation
NOTE
〜ば〜ほど expresses a progressive correlation — "the more X, the more Y." As X increases, Y increases proportionally.
習えば習うほど、上手になる。
The more you learn, the better you get.
This pattern shows that as one action increases, another change happens accordingly.
NOTE
The ば-conditional of the verb is followed by the dictionary form of the same verb, then ほど.
STRUCTURE

Kikeba kiku hodo, kyoumi ga waite kuru.
