Explanation
NOTE
〜にしたがって expresses that as X progresses, Y follows — often with a sense of following a natural rule or path.
説明書にしたがって、組み立てた。
I assembled it following the instructions.
This shows how to perform an action according to a rule or guide.
NOTE
It is similar to 〜につれて but carries a stronger sense of following or conforming. It attaches to a verb's dictionary form or a noun.
