NOTE
〜とともに has two meanings: 1. doing something together with someone, and 2. Y changes along with X.
友達とともに旅行した。
I traveled together with my friends.
This expresses doing an action in the company of someone else.
NOTE
It attaches directly to a noun or the dictionary form of a verb.
