Explanation
NOTE
〜と同じで means like or similar to — it expresses similarity between two things. Both follow a noun.
去年と同じで、今年も雪が多い。
Like last year, this year also has a lot of snow.
Used to point out a similarity between two situations or periods of time.
NOTE
と同じで focuses on being alike; と同じように emphasizes doing something in the same manner.
