NOTE

〜という点てんで means in terms of, regarding the fact that, or in the aspect of. It highlights a specific dimension or angle of evaluation.

使つかいやすいという点てんで、このソフトは優すぐれている。
In terms of being easy to use, this software is excellent.
Used to highlight a specific aspect or perspective when evaluating something.
NOTE

点てん literally means point or aspect. Use という点で after a verb or clause, and の点で after a noun. Useful for comparing or evaluating things on specific dimensions.

価格かかくの点てんで、このモデルはお得とくだ。
In terms of price, this model is a good deal.
You can use this structure to focus on one specific feature of a subject.
