Explanation
NOTE

〜ことなの is a casual explanatory expression meaning it is the case that or it means that. It combines こと (nominalizer) with the explanatory .

Used in spoken, casual Japanese to explain or emphasize the nature of a situation. In more formal contexts, 〜ということです is used instead.

かれおこっているのは、本気ほんきだということなの
The fact that he is angry means he is serious.
This construction is used to explain a reason or provide a definitive clarification for a preceding statement.
