Explanation
NOTE
〜を通じて tends to emphasize a medium, channel, or entire period. 〜を通して emphasizes a means through which something is done.
友人を通じて、その仕事を紹介してもらった。
I was introduced to that job through a friend.
Used here to indicate an intermediary person or source used to achieve a result.
NOTE
Both are largely interchangeable and attach directly to a noun.
