Explanation
NOTE
〜ばのに expresses regret or frustration: 'if only...', 'I wish...'.
お金があればいいのに。
If only I had money.
Used to express a desire for a situation that is currently not the case.
NOTE
のに adds frustration or disappointment — reality doesn't match the wish. Can be present or past.
