NOTE
〜にかわって means on behalf of or in place of — someone or something acts as a representative or replacement for another.
社長にかわって、部長がスピーチをした。
On behalf of the president, the manager gave a speech.
This shows someone acting as a proxy or representative for another person.
NOTE
Use にかわって after a noun to say "on behalf of [noun]" or "replacing [noun]". It often implies a formal substitution.
