NOTE
〜ない内に means before X happens — act while the negative state still holds.
忘れないうちにメモしておこう。
Let me take a note before I forget.
Use this to indicate doing something while a certain state still exists, before it changes.
NOTE
This overlaps with [V][ない] + うちに, but ない内に stresses the timing before an event occurs.
STRUCTURE

Kowarenai uchi ni shuuri shite moratta.
I got it repaired before it broke.
売り切れないうちに買っておいた。
Urikirenai uchi ni katte oita.
I bought it before it sold out.
