Explanation
NOTE
〜とすると means assuming that or if that is the case — it assumes X as a premise and draws a logical conclusion Y.
彼が正しいとすると、私が間違っている。
Assuming he is right, then I am wrong.
This grammar is used to set up a hypothetical situation or premise to draw a logical conclusion.
NOTE
More logical and objective than としたら. Often used in analysis, problem-solving, or deduction.

Densha ga tomatte iru to suru to, basu de iku shika nai.
Assuming the train has stopped, we have no choice but to go by bus.

Kanojo ga shiranakatta to suru to, dare ga oshieta no ka.
Assuming she didn't know, who told her?
計画が成功するとすると、次のステップに進む。
Keikaku ga seikou suru to suru to, tsugi no suteppu ni susumu.
Assuming this plan succeeds, we'll move to the next step.
