NOTE
〜て以来 means ever since — from a past event up to the present, with a continuous state.
日本に来て以来、ずっと元気だ。
Ever since coming to Japan, I have always been well.
Used to describe a state that has continued from a specific point in the past until now.
NOTE
Implies the situation has not changed since that pivotal moment. Attaches to the て-form.
