Explanation
NOTE
〜事にはならない means doesn't mean that — used to reject a hasty conclusion.
謝ったからといって、許された事にはならない。
Just because you apologized doesn't mean you were forgiven.
Often paired with *〜からといって* to mark the premise being rebutted.
NOTE
It clarifies a misunderstanding: the prior action or fact does not logically lead to the stated conclusion.
NOTE
Attach 〜事にはならない to the plain form of a clause (often a past verb or 〜た+からといって).
