NOTE
〜ようがない means there's no way to V or it's impossible to V — the speaker lacks any means or method to perform the action.
電話番号を知らないから、連絡しようがない。
I don't know the phone number, so there's no way to contact them.
Used when circumstances make the action genuinely impossible — not just difficult.
NOTE
The reason for the impossibility is usually a lack of information, resources, or conditions needed to act.
NOTE
Attach ようがない to the masu-stem of a verb (連絡します → 連絡しようがない; 直します → 直しようがない).
STRUCTURE
