Explanation
NOTE
〜につき means due to or because of — a very formal reason marker used in announcements and business writing.
本日は祝日につき、休業いたします。
Due to today being a holiday, we are closed.
Common on shop signs and official notices.
NOTE
Use 〜につき for written or formal spoken contexts — never in casual conversation.
NOTE
Attach directly to a noun — no の or な in between (工事中 → 工事中につき).
STRUCTURE

につき本日は休業につき、閉店しております。
Honjitsu wa kyugyo ni tsuki, heiten shite orimasu.
We are closed today due to a holiday.
悪天候につき、飛行機が遅れています。
Akutenko ni tsuki, hikoki ga okurete imasu.
The flight is delayed due to bad weather.
工事につき、この道は通れません。
Koji ni tsuki, kono michi wa tooremasen.
This road is impassable due to construction.
改装中につき、本日は閉店させていただきます。
Kaisouchuu nitsuki, honjitsu wa heiten sasete itadakimasu.
Due to renovations, we are closed today.
台風接近につき、会議は中止といたします。
Taifuu sekkin nitsuki, kaigi wa chuushi to itashimasu.
Due to the approaching typhoon, the meeting will be canceled.
工事中につき、立ち入り禁止。
Koujichuu nitsuki, tachiiri kinshi.
Due to construction, entry is prohibited.
