Explanation
NOTE

〜てたまらない expresses an unbearably strong feeling or sensation — can't stand it or insufferably X.

あつてたまらない
It's unbearably hot.
Used when a sensation has become too much to endure.
NOTE

The speaker conveys a direct, personal emotion — physical (hot, cold, painful) or emotional (sad, worried, lonely).

NOTE

With i-adjectives, replace with くてたまらない (寒い → 寒くてたまらない).

NOTE

With verbs, attach てたまらない to the て-form — most often with the 〜たい desire form (食べたい → 食べたくてたまらない).
