feeling like
Explanation
NOTE

〜気 (read , not き) is a suffix meaning a sense of, an air of, or a feeling of something.

さむがする。
I feel a chill.
寒気 (さむけ) literally means *a sense of cold* — the body's chill sensation.
NOTE

Note the reading: this is not the き reading (energy/spirit) seen in 元気 or 病気.

NOTE

Attach 〜気 to a noun or an adjective stem to describe an atmosphere or bodily sensation.
