〜様では
if (bad state) continues
Explanation
NOTE
〜様では means if (this bad state) continues, used when a negative outcome is feared.
そんなに怠けている様では、合格は難しい。
If you keep being that lazy, passing will be difficult.
The result clause expresses a worrying or undesirable consequence.
NOTE
It is mainly attached to verbs in the 〜ている form, describing an ongoing bad situation.
NOTE
With nouns, attach の様では to express if it stays in (that bad) state (今の調子 → 今の調子の様では).
STRUCTURE

様では毎日そんなに飲んでいる様では、体を壊すよ。
Mainichi sonna ni nonde iru you de wa, karada o kowasu yo.
If you keep drinking that much every day, you'll ruin your health.
遅刻ばかりしている様では、信用されない。
Chikoku bakari shite iru you de wa, shinyou sarenai.
If you keep being late all the time, you won't be trusted.
こんなに赤字が続いている様では、会社は潰れる。
Konna ni akaji ga tsuzuite iru you de wa, kaisha wa tsubureru.
If losses keep continuing like this, the company will go under.

Ima no choushi no you de wa, yuushou wa muri da.
If things stay at this pace, winning is impossible.
この天気の様では、遠足は中止になるだろう。
Kono tenki no you de wa, ensoku wa chuushi ni naru darou.
With weather like this, the field trip will probably be canceled.
あの態度の様では、誰も協力してくれない。
Ano taido no you de wa, dare mo kyouryoku shite kurenai.
With an attitude like that, no one will cooperate.
